Rose Arbour Tea Room
Chester, Vermont
A delightful old home turned into tea room and B&B.
The scones were scrumptous ( Mine aren’t that good!)
and I did quite a bit of holiday shopping. A feast for the eyes and stomach!
Kathleen,
Thanks for sharing! It is always nice to learn the location of a new tea room.
A couple of my favorites:
Savvy Tea (Madison, CT) – I’m heading back there next week for a tasting… they have a great selection of Japanese teas, my current favorite.
Red Blossom Tea Company (San Francisco) – Great spot to drop in if you’re in Chinatown…
Tavalon Tea (Brooklyn) – My brother got me tea of the month from these guys at Christmas – what a FABULOUS gift! We’re still enjoying it…
The Tao of Tea (Portland, OR) – I’ve also heard great things about the Tao of Tea. A friend has shared their teas with me (top-notch), but I haven’t visited their tea houses yet.
Hello. I’m glad to have found your site.
My friend and I try to visit tea rooms every few months. One that is always on our list is:
“An Afternoon To Remember”
Wonderful tea room parlor and gift store. They also have classes you can take.
There are a few more that we intend to visit this year. I’ll return and add them later.
Nice page too.
Hello PJ!
Thanks for sharing one of your, what I assume to be, favorite tea rooms. I truly need to slow down and visit one of my favorite tea rooms. Too much time has transpired since the last time I’ve had afternoon tea.
Hi Everyone
I just wanted to start by saying that the contribution here is simply amazing. I think everyone does a fine job here and just wanted to make that known.
House of Te in Houston, Texas is a family-owned place with a great atmosphere, tango nights, and a vast array of teas.
love the site. stumbled upon it when reading your bit on kashmiri kahwa. i just got back from kashmir so i’ll have to try the tea company you mentioned and see if it is up to par. thanks again.
Sana,
Thanks for sharing. I will have to visit their website for more contact information. Please return soon and share your tea views!
What a great site! Thank You!! I live out in Suffolk County, NY and found a great little tea shop in Port Jefferson. It is called You, Me and Tea. It had a great selection of Black Teas, Green Teas, and Rooibos Teas which I love. They also have a webiste which I ordered from. They ship free for orders on Teas over $25.00. Their website is http://www.youmeandtea.com. You should give them a try. I was really satisfied with them
amazing statement! The art of relaxing is very important to the soul and body. You must rest, it’s natural.
Extremely wonderful post, genuinely beneficial stuff. Never thought I would obtain the tips I need right here. I have been looking all around the internet for a while now and had been starting to get irritated. Fortunately, I happened onto your site and got precisely what I had been hunting for.
This is certainly my initial stop by and I really like what I’m seeing. Your weblog is so much fun to look over, quite compelling as well as informative. I’ll undoubtedly recommend it to my friends. Nevertheless, I did have some problem with the commenting. It kept giving me an problem whenever I clicked on publish comment. I hope, that can be fixed. Many thanks
