It is Saturday morning, cold and snowy. I have been sitting in my fleece pajamas all day in front of the fire and now I am drinking a hot cup of tea. If only there were more days like this… nowhere to go, no errands to run, and truly relaxing. Unfortunately, I haven’t taken the time to do any of my homework. I suppose I will have to spend all day tomorrow catching up, but for today its fuzzy pajamas, a crackling fire, and a cup of Moonlight Sonata.
Composition: A combination of chocolate, vanilla, mint and rooibos, with a trace amount of almond.
Dry Visual: A potpourri of colors. Moonlight Sonata is chunky like trail-mix. Thanks Tantalizing Tea for the picture.
Dry Aroma: Scrumptious! The combination of mint and chocolate reminds me of Peppermint Patty. Thinking about taking a bite.
Flavor: Moonlight Sonata is delicious. The ingredients are blended well together creating a wonderful cup of tea. Mint is the strongest flavor, however, it is lovingly complimented by chocolate. The finish is nutty – a combination of the almond and rooibis. The flavor of Moonlight Sonata is consistent throughout.
I am currently on my fourth cup of Moonlight Sonata. Naturally sweet, I have enjoyed two cups without the addition of sweetener and two cups with (Sugar-In-The-Raw and Honey). The addition of sweetener enhanced the chocolate flavor creating more of a dessert tea.
Liquor: A reddish brown with hints of gold.
Brewing Time: Unable to determine the brewing time on the website, I decided to brew for about 5 minutes. Typical for rooibis.
Manufacturer: Tantalizing Tea
