I eagerly anticipated trying a cup of this new tea – Strawberry Apricot. Not only did it smell heavenly it resembled a potpourri of dried fruit similar to a fruit trail-mix. I wondered if the taste would live up to the expectations set by the dry visual and dry aroma.
I have to thank my co-worker for sharing this tea with me. If not for her, I would not have sampled this new tea anytime soon. With thanks aside, let’s review.
Composition: Hibiscus blossoms, rose hip peels, apple bits, strawberry pieces, elderberries, citrus peels, natural strawberry-apricot flavor.
Dry Visual: Beautiful presentation of colors. Strawberry Apricot is simply fun to look at with its various chunks of fruit – a mini fruit salad in a cup.
Dry Aroma: Divine! The smell of berries and apricots is simply amazing.
Flavor: I am truly biased at this time. I believe that I brewed the StrawerryApricot tea too long – thus the flavor was not its best. It was too tart for my liking even after I added honey leaving me unable to decipher the differences in the various fruit flavors.
Liquor: A beautiful purple with red tones. I was reminded of jewel tones.
