If you don’t already know… shame on you! The World Tea Expo begins, Saturday, May 2nd through Monday, May 4th in Las Vegas, Nevada. I am truly excited to be a part of the festivities. This year there is a wonderful line-up of special events scheduled. As I am sure you have already guessed, my favorites were decided upon months ago. Yet, to my chagrin, more events have been added since then, thus tossing me back into the world of indecision. Not a bad thing, when all the decisions are things you love to do. Okay, enough rambling…
Check out the list of special events scheduled for the 2009 World Tea Expo:
• Saturday, May 2, 11: 30 a.m., Opening Tea Ceremony, Modern Teaism
• Saturday, May 2, 1:00 p.m., Authentic Chinese Tea Ceremony
• Saturday, May 2, 3:00 p.m., Oolong Rolling Demonstration
• Sunday, May 3, 1:00 p.m., How Matcha is Made
• Sunday, May 3, 3:00 p.m., Top Tea Cocktail
Each year, World Tea Expo attracts thousands of retailers, tea room owners, spa managers, specialty grocery store owners and other business professionals to view more than 300 specialty tea wholesale suppliers and related vendors exhibiting new products and innovations. The Expo has increased in size and scope for the last six years consecutively, earning it and its organizers multiple awards for growth and vision.

See you there!

I Hope to see you there.
Billy Shall,
Ditto! Will you have an exhibit/booth set up at the World Tea Expo this year?
Since Narien is a relatively newer company, (summer 2008) This first year we have focused mostly on getting everything set up. We will definitely have a booth next year!
Last year, my friends and I attended 2 days, but we’re scheduled to be there all 3 days this year. Definitely want to catch the Chinese Tea Ceremony and How Matcha is made…… So much to take in in a 3 days time……. Can’t wait….
PJ
PJ,
I am so looking forward to this year’s event. I plan to take a few classes, attend the Tea Ceremony, and meet all the people I chat with online in person. What fun!!! However, since this is my first time in Vegas, I slid in a trip to Cirque de Soliel!
Hope to see you there. We talked about getting you some samples. I can bring along, or maybe we can talk about what and when you want to try.
