Sitting at lunch today and yearning for a cup of hot tea, I reached for a tea bag sample that I recently received. I wanted something different and thus selected the first tea bag my trusty fingers landed upon… Super Irish Breakfast Black Tea.
Let’s talk tea…
Composition: A blend of premium black teas is the description on the package. I would have hoped for a little more. Perhaps… what is in the blend.
Dry Visual: As this tea is contain in a “traditional” tea bag, there was really nothing exciting about the visual.
Dry Aroma: Tea, pure and simple, nothing fruity, “perfumy”, or flowery.
Flavor: The tea was certainly robust; but the flavor was uneventful. Super Irish Breakfast Black Tea was slightly bitter requiring a sweetener. After adding honey it was enjoyable, but not impressive. Die hard lover’s of black tea, might say otherwise.
Liquor: Light brown with a definite orange hue.
