Yesterday, I was in desperate need of a soothing yet robust tea. The safe thing to do, to ensure meeting both requirements, would be to drink my old faithful Winter White Earl Grey by Harney and Sons. Yet, I felt somewhat adventurous and opted with great anticipation to try something new. Imagine my excitement when I discovered the Earl Grey Creme Flavored Black Tea in my tea stash that I recently received from Jessica, author of Authori+ea.
Thanks again Authori+ea!
Composition: Traditional blend of Earl Grey black tea with bergamot oil, blue cornflowers, vanilla pieces and cream flavoring (dairy-free).
Dry Visual: A mixture of black, medium quality, broken, tea leaves complimented by contrasting blue cornflowers.
Dry Aroma: Heavenly! This tea has a wonderful sweet smell of dessert quality. I could not help opening the package and smelling over and over and over again!
Brewing Time: Recommended brewing time is 2 – 3 minutes. I brewed for 4 minutes. I think I forgot that I was not brewing my normal Winter White Earl Grey.
Manufacturer: Teavana
Caffeine: Yes

Stephanie,
Great site. Thanks for sending. What is your favorite tea from Prism Tea?
Oh, Earl Grey Creme is my new favorite tea. I discovered this recently, and it is just spectacular. I posted on Harney and Sons recently on my blog, but haven’t written about Earl Grey Creme. Maybe I will soon. Truly sublime.
S for Kitchen Confit,
I agree wholeheartedly! The Earl Grey Creme Flavored Black Tea is sublime. The creaminess is amazing! While my sample came from Teavana, I have heard that other companies carry as well. I wonder if there is any difference between your sample from Harney and Sons and mine? BTW – I love Harney and Sons teas.

NeedMeSomeTea,
If possible, please email me the link you posted. I cannot open from the comments. I’d love to read interesting facts about black tea.
Mm….sounds yummy! Earl Grey is my favourite! How can it be dairy free though?
Foodhogger,
Dairy Free…. I’m thinking they used something similar to a non-dairy creamer.
